GO BUCKEYE'S GO!
We were all geared up and ready for the game. We were having such a great time watching the game at halftime we decided to play the Ohio State theme song for Vera. I think we enjoyed it more than her but it was fun! We are so excited to for the final game on Monday. I hope it is not a repeat of the National Championship.....

A day in the life of Vera Anne....

I thought you might want to see what it is like to live like Vera.... She has the life for a 4 1/2 month old. Eat, Sleep, play and poop!...........


She usually gets up at 7am and after I feed her and she eats some cereal she watches her Baby Einstein.....


She loves to play with her excersauser... Must be nice having all these toys!


She does cry once and a while... She is not a big fan of belly time so this is her mad after she finally rolled over......


She finally calmed down and enjoyed me reading her a book.....


She loves playing with Daddy when he comes home from work....

A. C. Reception

Tonight was Clay's A. C. Reception. Clay got to go stag tonight while I stayed home with miss Vera. This was the first time I did not go with him to an event since we've met. I have to admit it was a little strange for me. I tried getting a babysitter but in the end I just did not feel comfortable leaving our baby. Clay liked it because he left as soon as he could and didn't have to mingle like he would of with me. He looks so handsome in his uniform!!!!

Lady

We said goodbye to our family dog this week. My Mom got lady when my parents got a divorce. She wanted a dog for protection since she was living alone. She was a great dog but when Vera was born my Mom decided to move out of her house into a condo so she could travel to see us more. My Dad took Lady and moved her out to Montana with our other dog. She loved it out there in the west with Dad and Gen. Gen noticed a change in her and after several trips to the vet they found out she had cancer. She was in a lot of pain even with medicine so when my Dad was out visiting he put her down. We know she is in doggy heaven looking over our 14 year old dog Val. Dogs are such great compainions! She was loved ..........

Thumb Sucker

I tried to capture Vera sucking her thumb during her nap. It was time for her to get up and she caught me in the act of taking pictures.. Oh well, here are some cute ones of her laughing at Mommy!

cold season

My poor baby is suffering from a bad cold. I took her to the doctor today since it has been 2 weeks and she isn't getting better. The doctor says it is a cold and it could take up to 4 weeks till she gets better. She has seen a lot of children this week for the same problems. Her vital signs were good and they weighed her and she was 16 pounds. That is a pound in 2 weeks. I guess that cereal is working!

Vera Laughing

Vera and I came home to beautiful weather in Missouri and a very Happy Daddy. He was so happy to see Vera he got teary eyed.... The picture of the three was taken at a picnic with his classmates. Ella Singing

My niece Ella is very talented. She loves to sing especially Beyonce! This video features Ella singing Beyonce's CD from DreamGirls. She takes after her Aunt Nadia... HE HE HE

Grandma's Girl

When it was time for Vera's afternoon nap there was no place for her to sleep. Her cousins William and Ella were occupying all the bedrooms. My Mom was so excited to let her sleep on her for her nap. I only like Vera napping in her crib or carseat so this was a big deal.....

Moxley lunch

Aunt Annie, Grannie Candy and Great Grandma Vera met Vera and I for lunch. We all got to eat including baby Vera.....

Daisy Bushman

I stop by my Mom's work everyday to check my email and update my blog. Carrie, my cousin brings her dog in with her everyday. She is starting to get used to baby Vera being around. Although she is big she is going to be a great dog for Carrie's new baby..........

Thumb Sucking

I caught Vera sucking her thumb last night.. Cute but not something Clay and I promote.. She was really just chewing on it but I thought it was a cute picture. They say you can take a pacifier away from your child but not a thumb.
Carrie came over to get her hair highlighter. She says I am the only one that does it right so I thought I would give her one good highlight before the baby comes! We really look like sisters in this picture.

Gymnastic Fun

I went with Kelly and her kids to the YMCA for Ella's Gynmastics class. Afterwards we went to the mat room to play around. Click on the right to view more pictures....
