reds weekend

Clay took a trip to Cinci for a Reds/Brother weekend. They try to do this every year! What a treat to watch some great baseball this time....., GO REDS!

We took a trip to DICK'S and spent most of the time riding bikes with the kids. Guess what Vera wants for her birthday! he he he
I was impressed with how good Charlie did too! He was keeping up with his sister with ease... He is going to be one athletic boy!

headphones

I love being a mini-van Mom! Some people say the never want to be one but they are missing out! One of the many great things about being a "soccer mom" is the kids get there own theatre in the back with cordless headphones! Or the outlet in the back for a wii, automatic sliding doors and trunk, automatic start, stow and go seating, table and sliding cars in back, powered stow seats, touch screen radio, normal windows with pull up screens, amazing space, low enough that kids can climb in themselves or short Mommy's can put there babies in without pulling their backs out!, ect... ect.. ect... Don't knock it till you try it! Especially with kids 18 months apart! I told Clay I don't think I will get a car until the kids start driving!....

bathtime fun

We have a huge jacuzzi tub in our mater bath and I have been in it one time in 2+years..... At least it is not going to waste! My kiddos love it! Gonna have to start taking some ME time and soak in the tub!

water world

Our neighbors invited us to join them at Water World last week. They are open late on Thursday and since it is soooooo hot down here we thought it would be good to go when the sun was down. After the wave pool we spent the rest of the evening at the kiddy area. Kids loved it and we left with two tired and wrinkled fingered kids!

Although potty training is going well I have not been out much and when Mr. Char is home he is naked.. So, I will not be posting as much as I usually do... Hang in there family members!!!!!

drive-in movie

We took the kids to the drive-in movie last week to see Toy Story 3. They did such a good job and loved the movie! I for see many more drive-in movies in our future!

potty training

I can't believe my 24 month old is started potty training. Not sure if its because he has an older sister or my approach is different or maybe bacause he is just plain and simple... a smart little guy! He picked it up so easy and is making this potty training experience so easy for me! He goes #1 and #2 like a champ but dosen't like to keep his undies on.....The only problem is I have cabin fever. He has not gone potty outside of the house yet... Work in progress!
Don't forget to check out the video! It's not as good as having Uncle Nash in person but its the best we can do!!!!

I thought Sammy had a good looking bridal party but Vera might be the most precious bridesmaid I have ever seen! She was so thrilled when I brought home my souvenirs from the weekend! She's practicing for her upcoming flowergirl gig!

Everyday Clay and I comment on how big the kiddos are getting. Vera is maturing right before our eyes and Charlie is not a baby anymore.......

bachelorette party!!!!

I had a blast this past weekend in Louisville celebrating with my cousins and Aunt and all her friends. Although I was the oldest (minus the Mom's) I had a great time! It was nice to enjoy some "ME" time without the kids! Last celebration till the big day!

I made these tiara's for the party. Everyone at the bars kept asking me if I was a teacher... No, just a MOM!

Thanks to my Mom for coming down to Alabama to watch the kiddos for me! While she enjoyed her grandchildren, I enjoyed a day by the pool! It was so strange to be able to relax and not have to look after any kids.
