We had pizza and cupcakes the other day with our friends Dave, Sally and her boys to wish "Mr. Clay" a happy 31st birthday. The guys played Wii while Sally and Vera played together.
Sally also witnessed Charlie's 1st crawl! WHORAY!

abc song

Everyone ask how can I possibly blog everyday with two kids. The secret is that I don't. I usually blog once a week. The trick is post options at the bottom of your create post page. You can pick your post date and time! I hope this helps everyone!

I just love this video!!!

getting closer

I am doing things so different with the second baby. I was obsessed with teaching Vera how to crawl. With Charlie I can wait till he crawls and than I will have to look after two mobile kids. I was playing with the kids in the play room and turn around to find Charlie doing this... He is almost there! He might wait till he is with Pappa Norm, Gen, Uncle Nash and Aunt Kelly next weekend! I want to get the first one on film like I did Vera. Maybe I need to get the doggy bowl out (worked for V). If only Steph and Kim were here to witness it again!

1. I cook breakfast for Clay every morning. Yes, I know it is a shocker. I enjoy cooking breakfast food and we see him more in the a.m. than in the evening during dinner time.
2. I have two middle names. Nadia Colleen Miriam Duncan, both named after my grandma's.
3. I always sleep the same way with my hands tucked under my chin on my side. My Mom sleeps this way and my daughter does too. WIERD
4. Everyone knows I love to clean house but I HATE to clean bathrooms. Thank you Mom for always getting down and dirty in the bathrooms when you visit!
5. I have huge fingers and hands. I wear a size 8 ring, HUGE.
6. I love watching home movies from my childhood. I guess I had such a fantastic childhood I love reliving it...

big news

I know we have not told anyone yet but....
We are having baby number 3!...

Clay and I just don't know when to stop....

Just kidding, but Jess is due with baby #2!
Jess and I have a packed that started back with Vera that when we found out we were pregnant we would tell each other right away. That way we could keep it a secret for a few more weeks, but still have someone to tell the exciting news too! Four babies later we are still keeping the tradition. When I found out she was pregnant a few months ago I decided that I needed to pay her a visit to celebrate. Her husband is serving his second tour in Iraq and she is suffering from terrible back problems. And taking care of a 21 month, two dogs and a house....
I just wanted to be there to give her a hug and tell her what a fantastic job she is doing!
I can't wait to meet the next Fischer this summer! CONGRATS to Luke, Jess and Makenna!
Visit the Fischer Family Blog to congratulate the Momma to be again....
