While my Dad was in town he kept himself busy with projects... One of them was putting christmas lights up. The kids love them and wanted to show Daddy when he came home this weekend.

We took Vera and Charlie to a horse show on Fort Rucker this weekend. Vera loved it and thanks to another Mom sitting near us let us know what was going on.... I remember my best friend from home competing when we were kids but never knew anything about it.....

Another sacrifice a military family makes is living far from family. We are so fortunate to have parents who take time out of their busy lives to see us! We are so greatful and the kids love it!!!!!

I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I am so blessed to have my Mom and Dad down to care for myself and the kids since Clay is gone. V keeps asking me if I feel better yet and as you can see here Bubba is MOMMY's BOY!

I am not sure I will be able to top this party! We had a great time saturday at Vera's party. It was at Bit of Heaven Farms in the barn with the horses, pigs and chickens! She had a great time along with everyone else! Daddy got to come home for the weekend along with grandparents and friends! I can't believe my baby is 3 years old already!!!!!

Mommy surprised Vera with a HUGE pony balloon and cupcakes for her class to celebrate her 3rd birthday. SHE LOVED IT and the kids did too! She looked adorable in her horse dress and cowboy boots!

When Clay's Mom heard about Charlie she packed up the car and came down to help bringing along Annie too! I am so pleased to have family who is there for me when Clay is away! THANK YOU! And as you can see in the photo Vera was so happy TOO!
