Vera's 1st Halloween

I went all out this halloween and bought a Tom Arma costume. The most famous childrens costume designer. Vera obviously had no clue what was going on tonight. We saw lots of cute kids trick or treating!!!!! Maybe next year she will know whats going on!

Vera is cruising all over the furniture and all over Mommy and Daddy. She stands by herself but is still unsure. We are hoping by her first birthday she will be taking her first steps????

We brought out Vera's rain jacket last night for dinner. The rain has finally stopped but now it is cold.... We can't wait for this weekend, supposed to be beautiful!

Vera and I got invited to the Playroom yesterday. A big playground inside which was great since it was a rainy day yesterday.

A WIN

We finally won! GO BENGALS!
We met some great people from Cincinnati. Not only are they from Cincinnati but they graduated from Oak Hills, small world. They were our good luck charm! A.J. and his sister Erica had fun playing with Vera!
Hopefully the Bengals will keep on winning!

Baby Shower

We had a couples baby shower for our friends yesterday. Steph is due with a girl the beginning of November. The shower went well and they got some great gifts. I cooked my sister-in-laws lasagna and it was a hit. (I hate to cook and was so nervous). Lots of children playing together too!

Miss Vera's boyfriend is back for another visit! Vera just loves Eli's company. She had a great time with him last night! They will get to spend the whole weekend together!!!! Lot's of pics to come....

rainy day....

A rainy day calls for comfort food. My Mom just sent me a "goody box" and this cute little pan was in it. I made some yummy pancakes for Vera and I this morning. Too bad Clay missed out......

Look who's getting older....

Not only is Vera another month older but Avery is also another year older.

pumpkin patch

We took Vera to her first pumpkin patch. Her favorite part was the tractor that took us to the patch. She is all boy when it comes to trucks, tractors and lawnmowers....
They had a big sunflower field, lots of pumpkins and animals to pet. It was a great family morning for the Duncans.

Checkup

I took Vera to the doctor today for a checkup. I wanted to make sure her ear infection was gone. She has no ear infection but the nose is flowing. We think she is getting more teeth, no fun. The weather is getting cooler, finally. Well, for us 80 degrees is cooler! We hope it starts to cool off. I am running out of summer clothes for Vera!
