A chance to brag........
Yes, my 23 month old is starting to read. Clay and I started to recognize V's ability to learn early and jumped on the opportunity for her to learn. Granny Candy has purchased us several tools and they are working. From reading books, watching videos and flash cards..... But, most of all I think she is smart like her Father!
She knows how to count to 20 now in English and 10 in Spanish. Knows her colors, shapes (even octagon!) and alphabet. She can sing many songs too.
The icing on the cake is now she is learning to read! Check out these video clips of her! Thanks to a lot of hard work and determination Vera is learning how to read before she turns 2! Next is a foreign language.....

Dearest Nadia- Vera may be the smartest child I have ever seen but the real KUDOS go to her Mom for developing all that talent to begin with! You have missed your calling, you should be a preschool teacher with all your patience and dedication! Making the world a better place one child at a time!!!!!
