Clay suprised me with this necklace yesterday. I get to wear this V around my neck until Vera gets older than it is hers... I guess he spoiled both of us with this one! You can't go wrong when you buy blue!

Last time Grandma Carol was in town she got Vera interested in her highchair buckle. Now, it is an every meal routine after we eat. She is so smart! This morning she buckled herself in! Go Vera!!!!!!!!!! (Nice Job Grandma Carol)

Clay's Mom and Nana are in town visiting this weekend. I wish Miss Vera was feeling better but looks like we will be staying in all weekend. Clay and I took Vera to the doctor this morning. She has had a fever since Wednesday evening and has vomited a few times. The doctor told us it was viral and that he has had tons of kids in these past two weeks with the same thing. This is the first time Vera has been sick too. She is not a lovey baby but we are getting are fair share of lovin!!!!! I'll keep you guys updated!
p.s. she gained some weight too! 23 1/2 pounds

This was the only time that Vera was happy today. Poor baby is not feeling well. She has a fever, runny nose and diaper rash. I guess this is what you call teething? She has been so good with all her other (7) teeth so we weren't expecting this...
On a brighter note. We had a blast looking at Vera's baby book tonight! Got to love that laugh!

I'm so jealous....
Clay's best friend has been to every state and house we've lived in. He has helped us move a few times too. I'm jealous because none of my friends come to see me.
Dave and Lizza came through from Miami just off of a cruise. We had a good time eating food and playing cards. THANKS for coming out to see us!

Hair Day

Vera had got a haircut today!
Grandma and Daddy were there to help me out. She does a fantastic job and always lets me do whatever I want. I guess that is because I have been messing with her hair since she was born. We decided on bangs too. Her hair is always in her face and her hair is getting too long for the pebbles look. We had to get her all ready for her 9 month pictures this weekend!
