This morning while I was getting ready Miss V watched Sesame Street in her rcking chair (thanks Granny Candy). She loves climbing in and out of it all the time. Next thing you know she is climbing on her toys. Fearless child....

Daddy loves to bring Miss V into bed in the morning..... This morning we put some cartoons on and she was in heaven! She needed to rest after tickle time and flip all over the bed time with Daddy. (Sorry Mommy looks so bad, I just woke up)

We could not resist such a beautiful day so we headed to the park with our friends. Everytime we go Vera tries something new. This time she wanted to go on the balance bean and pods. We are convinced it is due to her gymnastics classes. She is not afraid of anything.....

Right before Vera goes down for her nap I run the vacumm. Yes, I am what you called obsessed with cleaning. Clay always says when Vera takes a nap the cleaning fairy comes out! Vera is taking after her Mommy and brings her vacumm out too.

Wow, that was one heck of a game to watch last night!

We went over to the Koontz's house for a Super Bowl party. Lots of friends, kids and good food.... As you can see we did a little watching of the game and a lot playing with the kids! We put Vera to bed at halftime and got to watch an exciting second half of the game! Both Clay and I were routing for the Giants! We jumped up and down and cheered in silence!!!!

A beautiful day in southern Alabama! Clay took Vera for a 10 mile bikeride while I got to go to the gym!!!! Yes, Clay has shorts and a t-shirt on because it was in the 70's this weekend! SUPER NICE

GUS and GAL- (summer 07')
Well... I had this big weekend planned for Clay's 30th. Aunt Lisa and I planned a trip to Colorodo. I worked my magic and managed to get him off work without him knowing and planned the trip. We headed down to Tallahasee on Thursday night to stay the night and catch a 6am flight the next morning. When we got to the airport they informed us that the flight was canceled and the only way they could get us to Colorado was taking three flights and getting in late afternoon/evening. I wanted this trip to happen but there was no way we were going to put Vera through all that traveling and plan rides. We managed to get credit for our flights and headed home. Might of been for the best... The whole family is suffering from colds and we are enjoying a slow weekend together!
