Vera's new cabana

Grandma Carol bought Vera a cabana for the beach. We could not wait for the weekend so we opened it up today! She was not sure at first. She would crawl up close to it and stop to look at me for reassurance. Than after I put her inside and it was over.. Since we could not use steaks in the sand the cabana was all over the place...

Date Night

Clay and I went on our first date since Vera was born! You non-military blog visitors are probably thinking we are crazy but we are not as fortunate as most people to have our parents close to us. My fellow army wives know how exciting it is to have your parents in town to get a night out! It was fun but I missed Vera.. We went to dinner and put put golf! My Mom had a great time alone with Vera! All they did was play play play, what Grandma's are there for!

We were heading to Dothan for a little shopping! Vera wore one of Grandma's new outfits too! I think she always looks good in corals and pinks!

Grandma Carol arrived yesterday for a long weekend. She needed her "Vera Fix". She had a blast trying to feed Vera this morning. She is just like her father, can't sit still.... She did end up eating the whole banana after we mashed them with her cherrios!

Vera's 1st Crawl

I captured her first "Crawl" on video! Yes, she is going for the doggie bowls. I think it is easier for her to crawl on the tile than carpet. Don't worry I mop the floor everyday! This one is rough but it is the official first crawl so I had to put it on for everyone. My Mom wanted to be here. Just figures she is due to arrive here tomorrow. Yes, I know my world is about to go upside down.. I'm Excited
