goodbye uncle chris

We went to Cracker Barrel this morning before Chris left to head home. Vera enjoyed some pancakes and this yummy lemon!I swear the whole resturant was in love with Vera and watching her enjoy this lemon. She is attracting crowds already. Watch out Miss Ella you might have some compitition!

Cottage Cheese

Now that Vera is 8 months she can try more things like cottage cheese. Check out the video of my dramatic daughter. I know my family members are laughing.. Takes one to know one, Like Mother, Like Daughter. I know I am in for it.......

Fun at the park

We went to the park today.. While I pushed Vera on the swing the guys tossed the football. Vera loves the park but it is hard to enjoy when it is 100 degrees out....

work picnic

We went to Clay's work picnic at Lake Tollaco on Fort Rucker. Everything was great except that it was 100 degrees outside. Vera and I only came for lunch and a few bounces in the blow up boucer and than headed to the pool. She was not sure about being inside of this blow up machine!

Uncle Chris

Vera's GodFather and Clay's bestfriend, Chris came up from Florida to visit.....
Vera is enjoying him and last night Chris and I got to take a ride in a blackhawk. That is a blackhawk simulator!

Daddy's Home

Clay and Nash had a great time in Atlanta. Infact, the Reds won the series! They must be good luck. Vera was happy to see her Daddy!!!!

Go Red's

Clay is out of town this week. He met my brother, Nash in Atlanta at our friend, Phil's house. They are in Atlanta to watch the Red's series. I put Vera in her Red's onsie to help cheer on our loosing team.

Vera had her first babysiter (minus my Mom) this morning. I had to take all the animals to the vet so my friend, Kim watched Vera. She is baby crazy and confirmed that Vera is not good birth control.

8 Months Old

It is hard to believe that 8 months ago Vera was born. She is growing up so fast or should I say too fast. This morning she was moving all over the place and having a blast playing by herself with her toys like her true independant self. I looked at Clay and said she could not hold her head up a few months ago and now look at her. I am in awww at the new things she does everyday. Today she moved herself in a complete circle. You can see her top teeth sprouting more and more.
I am so glad I can share Vera with everyone. We tried so hard to get pregnant and had so much support from our friends and family. I think it is fitting that you get to watch her grow up too!

Z's house

We had a BBQ last night at our friends house. We met Jeremy and Tracey at Fort Carson, Co. We had a great time eating yummy food and Vera loved jumping on the trampoline!
