While Charlie was sick the antibiotic he was on for his ear infection gave him a nasty diaper rash. This is how Charlie spent most of his days in the kitchen sink or naked!
Calmoseptine is what I recommend. (you can buy it over the counter) It heals and soothes at the same time. Also, Cavilon is a great barrier for the skin to prevent it from getting worse. You can google image both and see what they look like. Hope that is helpful!
Noah has the same reaction from antibiotics for ear infections! Those pictures brought back memories of washing him off in the sink all day too! Have you tried Culturelle? It's safe for kids and you just mix a tablet in their milk every morning for probiotics - makes a HUGE difference. I don't start his antibiotics without them now.
What is cuter than a naked baby! Nothing - but not the reason that he has to be naked. But being the awesome Mommy your are I am sure our Charlie will be all better soon. Luv you all.....
Have you tried Bag Balm? You can get it at any drug store - it comes in a green metal square container. I usually dust the area with powder and spread the Bag Balm over it - usually clears up overnight! Good Luck!!!

Poor kiddo. Antibiotics are great, but the side effects aren't I'm sure he loved the fresh air.
