Vera sleeping (she loves her hands)
Vera had her first doctor appointment today. She weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces. She gained 1 pound 4 ounces. She is 21 inches long. She grew over 1 inch. Her head is 14 1/2 inches. She is in the 85% for her height and 75% for her weight. The doctor was very impressed with her reflexes and how alert she was. The doctor says we are doing a great job!

i'm sure you're doing a great job. i knew you'd be a great mommy. your pictures make me miss Miller being that little...and it wasn't that long ago. i know people say to enjoy it b/c it goes fast but take if from someone who's not very far removed....it's the truth.
