trike-a-thon

Thanks to everyone who is donating to St. Jude's for Vera's trike-a-thon. She raised over $300 from family and friends! She had a great time riding her trike with her classmates. My friend, Brooke came to help take pictures and Miss Annette helped walk Charlie around so I could help out with Vera! It was a good time by all and a great way to raise money for a good cause!

I pulled out the decorations for FALL and found this jack in the box that Pappa got Vera last year! They had such a great time playing together and getting "Scary'd" as Vera likes to call it!

It was so nice to be in a city with things to do!!! We had a great evening at the outdoor mall. Live music, ballon maker, fountains, bubble machines, train rides and a huge carosel that lite up! A great ending to a great weekend!

tate farms

Clay's classmates told us about this great pumpkin patch, Tate Farms. The four of us had a great time just as a family. We don't get trips like that often and it was really enjoyable. They had lots to do for the kids and we enjoyed watching them too! Three play areas, petting zoo, maze, corn cob train, pumpkin patch, face painting and good food. Vera had so much fun she slept with her pumkin that afternoon at naptime!!!!

hunstville trip

We drove up to Hunstville for the weekend to visit Daddy! We had a great weekend just the four of us. The kids were so excited to see Daddy and boy did Vera work him! Check them out reading before bedtime!

horses

A YMCA friend, Genny has a barn and horses and she let us come out to visit. We are having Vera's 3rd birthday party there and wanted to check it out before the big day. Katie, Genny's daughter took Vera for a ride on Jazz! As she is getting on the horse she tells me, "Mommy I LOVE IT!". She has not stopped talking about her horse ride and birthday party she gets to have!!!! Charlie enjoyed the pig named Pinky and the 4-wheeler....

sick eyes

My Mom used to always know I was sick by my eyes. My kids are the same way. They have what we call, "sick eyes".

Charlie update... He is not getting any worse! No wheezing and no problems with his O2 levels. Looks like I dodged a hospital visit this time! Good thing we didn't have to do that while Daddy is gone, WHORAY!!!
