Not sure who loves the I-touch better in this family. Vera loves to trace the letters and Charlie loves finding the shapes while Daddy loves playing games! Mommy loves it to keep up with sports and because everyone else loves it! he he he

countdown to see grandma

Vera had a hard time saying goodbye to Grandma this last visit. So, we decided to make a countdown ring till the next time we see her. Lucky for us it was only a few weeks! We used black and pink to represent Grandma's favorite colors and it hangs in her room to remind her that she gets to see Grandma soon!

No more cribs, changing tables or rocking chairs for our big boy.... Yes, Charlie has his own big boy room! The kids will have their own room for the remainder of our tour at Fort Rucker than get bunk beds for our new place! Vera can't wait to get a bunk bed and share a room with her bubba!

Another FUN trip with Grandma Carol. The only sad part was when we had to say goodbye to Grandma at the airport, poor Vera. She LOVES her Grandma!

We were so excited to have Uncle Todd visit for a few days on his way through to his new duty station. We wish Aunt Essie and the kids could of joined him but it was nice for the guys to get some "guy time" too!

It was nice to see Aly and Bama again!

saddle up & sign up

I am the historian for Fort Rucker Community Spouse Club this year. (not sure why they asked me, not because i am always walking around with a camera around my neck taking pictures. he he he) Our first event was Saddle Up & Sign Up and we were asked to dress country for the event. You can only imagine how excited Vera was to see me in cowboy boots! She told me I was ready to go ride a horsey, I wasen't so sure since I had a jean skirt on!!!!

My Mom says I need to explain to my blogger friends that Vera and Charlie's friendship is not stagged. That all the pictures of them hugging, holding hands and playing together is TRUE. I don't ask to get pictures of them loving each other, they just do it for me! Clay and I are so blessed to have kids that love each other!
