bachelorette weekend

I went to celebrate my cousin, Sammy's bachelorette weekend in Louisville! Friday night was a low key night. Great start to a fun weekend! More pictures to come!

Thanks to Mother Nature we got to enjoy some great waves at the beach and no oil yet...... Vera could spend all day at the beach playing in the water and in the sand while Charlie won't touch the sand... Check out the kids in the waves!

Thanks to the Army we got to have a free weekend at the Marriot Bay in Florida for a marriage retreat. Including a wonderful room, free childcare and all meals! It was a nice getaway with the family!

swim lessons

Vera had two weeks of swim lessons this summer. She did much more with her instructor than she would ever do with Mommy or Daddy so it was a SUCCESS! She loved it and we can't wait to see what she can do next year! Until then we will continue to swim away at home!

4th of july

We had a fantastic 4th of July weekend! We spent the weekend at sea with are favorite friends, Sally and the twins! Fun in the Sun!

V is still obsessed with horses.... Was hoping it was just a phase but I think she really loves them?.....Her favorite dress-up is her halloween costume from last year. COWGIRL VERA and her trusty horse, Palomino!

Everytime I wear my YMCA shirt Charlie points to it and says, Miss Sally. Everytime we drive to the Y he sees the street and yells, Miss Sally. The only way I can get him out of the nursery and away from the toys and kids is to see.... Miss Sally! As much as we love her boys she loves are kids!.....

Charlie and Vera love to workout with Clay and I... Vera asked everyday when we are going to excersise? Got to love that! Check out Mr. Charlie helping Mommy do lunges and Daddy doing pull-ups! He just had to be just like us and put the headphones in his ears!

Thanks to The Red Studio in Lebanon, OH for producing amazing pictures of Charlie! I had a hard time deciding because there are plenty more that are just as good! I LOVE THEM!!!!! I think he looks like a two year old Robert Redford! Watch out girls!
