After the trip to the World of Coke we took in some rays outside! The forecast called for rain today but it is quite the opposite! Beautiful sunny day for Miss Vera to get our of Daddy's backpack and run around!......

17 months

I can't believe my baby is 17 months old already. She is really turning into a toddler and growing more and more each day. I could go on and on about all the new things she is doing.But most of all she is... GROWING UP......

dressups

This was my favorite thing to do when I was a child. I used to put my Mom's clothes (underwear) on and off all the time! Like Mother Like Daughter, she loves putting clothes on and trying on shoes. I even caught her in Clay's closet yesterday putting on his big shoes.....

Had another doctor appointment today... Everything looks good and I return in two weeks. That is when I start going once a week until he joins us!.....

new haircut

Vera was in need of a haircut. Clay and I pondered over this all weekend and finally decided it was time. I decided that we would go pretty short for a few reasons....
She looks so darn cute with a bob, it gets super hot down here and in a few weeks I won't have time to mess with her hair. Simplify my life! I hope you guys like it!

Sorry if people were having trouble voting on charlie's arrival. It is up and running now and I look forward to checking it out! Some helpful hints people have been asking for....
Charlie's due date: May 29th
doctor thinks he will be an 8 pounder....
Vera was induced on her due date and I was 2 centimeters for a few weeks prior....
Vera weighed 7pounds 3 ounces and was 20 inches.....

sick baby

Poor Vera is fighting a nasty cold this week. She has had a runny nose for almost two weeks. She started with a fever on Monday night and is still fighting it. We have been taking it easy around here. She does not have much of an appitite but who can resist a cookie (mommy was craving them)! Most of the week she has been resting on Mommy and Daddy, but this evening she decided to break out a dance for us!

I download all my picture onto a hard drive. I found some pictures BK (before kids) and thought I would share... It seems like yesterday we were praying for Clay's safe return from Iraq and now we are anxiously waiting our second baby. Time flies bye so fast sometimes it is nice to see old pics that remind you to slow down and enjoy life.......

We went to get maternity portraits taken tonight. Afterwards we went out to eat. Miss Vera is suffering from a cold and was tired.. Check out just how tired she was.................

Vivacious Vera has a Vicious diaper rash....
Poor baby has sensitive skin like her Mommy. We are doing our best to clear it up and tonight we let her go comando! It helped a lot and we are hoping by tomorrow morning she will have her cute booty back! Here are some cute pics of Vera playing with her blocks!......
