daddy's ipod

Vera is really into mimicking people! She always sees Daddy with his IPOD so when she got a hold of it she put the head phones in her ears and the strap around her arm. Such a smart girl!

peeps

Aunt Annie and Granny Candy got Vera a cool Easter basket! Inside were some yummy peeps (mommy's favorite). She loved her peep and got really messy!

into everything...

Miss V loves to get into everything. Vera found an old toy and decided it would be fun to play in..... I had to keep getting her out of sticky situations and all she wanted to do was go back for more!

anniversary

Yesterday Clay and I celebrated 6 years of marriage. It was nice being at a wedding during our anniversary. It seems like yesterday I was walking down the aisle to marry my soul mate. Two trips to Iraq, 5 states, 9 moves, one baby and another one on the way in 6 years!... I can't wait to see what is in store for our future!......

weekend in ohio

What a weekend.... Jammed packed as always when we return to Ohio. We are glad to be back in sunny AL and back to a normal routine! Thanks Granny Candy for watching Vera on Friday and especially Grandma Carol for keeping her this weekend. (She has already called a few times "Vera deprived")! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Grandma Carol with Vera and Ella on Friday night!

William and Ella playing with the piggybank! Uncle Nash getting in on the action...

My brother, Nash keeping all the kids entertained!

Grandma Carol took Vera to see the Easter Bunny!
Miss Vera did not want to sit alone with the Easter Bunny like Ella and Will....
Clay was part of the sabor team and usher for the wedding in Cleveland!

I was able to go see my favorite singer, Michael Bubble while Clay enjoyed some quality time with his brother-in-law Nash and his niece and nephew!

Vera passed out on Clay's back in the airport today flying home. She was fantastic on all the flights and when we got home took a great nap along with Mommy and Daddy!

ohio bound

We left today for Ohio... Vera will be staying with Grandma Carol over the weekend while Clay and I go to a wedding up in Cleveland. This is the first time I have been away from Vera for more than a few hours. I know this is HUGE, but when Charlie is born my Mom will come down to watch Vera so we want her to be used to it. I think I will miss her more than she misses us.....She is going to be busy this weekend and I hope my Mom will take tons of photos for me so I can post them but I can't promise you anything....
Wish me luck...... I miss her already and I haven't left her yet......
Vera was having fun climbing in and out of the suitcase grabbing her paci and baby doll....

loves her crocs

I am so surprised how much Vera loves her new shoes... I am not a big shoe person so this is not me.... (I know I might be the only woman who doesn't love shoes)
I think she loves that she can put them on and off and they feel good on her feet! Not a big fan of crocks but if she loves them she must have them!

vera's room

Not much has changed in Miss Vera's room except for her new crib and dresser but I know everyone wants to see. I am still fine tuning Charlie's room!....

crocks

Vera got her first pair of crocks today. I went shoe shopping for myself and ended up with nothing for me and crocks for her. She was in love with all of them! She picked out these and I love them!

work in progress...

This weekend we purchased another a crib and dresser. Todd and Clay did a great job putting it together. We moved Vera's crib and changing table into Charlie's room. The new crib is a convertible crib so when she is ready we can change it into a toddler bed. We bought a dresser for her too. She has a beautiful clock made by my grandpa and a bookshelf made by Clay's grandfather in her room. We did our best trying to match the finishes! She has lots of room to play now and we all love her new crib. Thank You Granny Candy, Nana, Grandma Carol and Pappa Norm for gifting us money for baby furniture!!!!
