big girl

We decided to take the leap into the big girl bed.......
We chose to go cold turkey too. I was so worried that this was going to be a huge ordeal and in the end it was a breeze. I am ready to buy the full size kit and get her in a real bed.

charlie's 1st trip to the beach...

Clay suggested leaving Cinci early to spend some quality time together as a family and hit the beach! We have not gone this year because it is too hot for Charlie. We had a great time and can't wait to go back when the Duncan's arrive!
It was a perfect weekend for me! Clay took me to the outlet malls to buy Vera's fall wardrobe (so much fun!). Than we went to the beach for a few hours with our friends and all ate dinner at McGuire's Irish Pub.

caeleb's soccer game

V had a blast on Friday at Caeleb's soccer game. She loves Alaura and being outside! We are so lucky to have such great friends with us here at Rucker. We can't wait to welcome the Thorson's back to Rucker next weekend too!

4 months old already

I can't believe Charlie is already 4 months old. We started giving him rice cereal. I thought I could hold off until 6 months, but my little chunker was ready. The first attempt was not the most pleasent for Charlie. He gave the worst faces and barely ate any. I waited until we got back from Cincinnati to try again and he loves it! Not as much as mommy but what boy would like cereal over mommy's milk! tee hee

road trip

We decided to head back to AL early this week. Clay wanted to get some time alone with his kiddos before he has to head back to work. We had a nice time at the hotel with the kids until it was time to go to bed... I think it is time to get V in a toddler bed! Any suggestions?????

bengals game

Clay got me Bengal tickets for an early Christmas present! THANKS BABY!
I had a blast tailgating with my brother, sister-in-law, neighbor, hubby and good friend Bridget (just returned from her 3rd tour in Iraq). Good thing we all had a buzz since the Bengals are horrible!.......

we love nana

A trip to the nursing home to visit Nana.... Vera learned how to open the door that does not lock and wander the halls. She loved all the wheelchairs and elevators!
