weekend...

Everyone is on the mend now. My cousin Brandy came down for the weekend to spend time with us. We stayed in most to the weekend and painted my Mom's house. My Mom asked for some of my decorating advice and so the painting started... My little daredevil loved climbing up the ladder. Scared us all but no broken bones or open wounds. Check out my boys blue eyes too!

Uncle Nash arrived home this afternoon from Montana. We met up with him and the family for his favorite meal, SKYLINE!

CLay flew to Montana to represent the Duncan Family at my Dad's wedding. (the handsome guy in the suit on the end). I did not want to fly cross country with a new born and V so Clay and my Brother were eachothers date. Instead of a honeymoon my Dad took Clay, my Brother and our good friend Phil backpacking in Yellowstone Park. They should return today...

What a rough few days... Vera has an ear infection. I got sick with a virus that feels like I'm having constant migraines and William came down with the same thing today. No fun, but after a trip to urgent care and some meds Vera is feeling better and I hope to be back to my old self again tomorrow. Clay returns from Yellowstone tomorrow and I can't wait to hear how his trip went! I hope my Dad will send me pictures to post!....

Aunt Annie got Charlie to smile for the first time last week.
What a CUTIE!!!!!

we made it safe....

Aunt Annie, Vera, Charlie and I made it to Cincinnati safe. We left a few days earlier than planned and decided to drive all the way through. A 10 hour drive took 14 hours. We had to stop every few hours for me to nurse Charlie. After being stuck on the highway from a accident we got redirected thanks to my Father-in-law and that added 2 hours to our trek.... V stayed awake until the last 5 minutes of the trip and passed out. I ended up driving the whole way and Aunt Annie took care of the kids (THANK YOU). Charlie was a gem and they both slept great that night! Since I came early I took advantage and am relaxing at my Mom's!......

This is my Grandma's first time changing a disposable diaper. Hard to believe!...She could not figure out how to take it off and she put it on backwards but besides that it was great!
