Clay has his hands full

We had a great time with Eli and Jenny this weekend. Jenny and I both realized how hard it would be to have twins chancing after the two babies. Clay got a little taste too today at the pool!

After a hot day at the pool we had to wake Miss Vera up from her nap. When she was up we put Eli in with her to play a little. I think that is the most pink Eli has ever seen! They have a great time together! Eli heads home Sunday but we hope to see him again in a few months!

Bathtime with Eli

Vera had her first bathtime with someone besides Mommy or Daddy. I think they had a great time together splashing and playing with toys. (Good thing their big belly's hang over! tee hee)Clay is still not sure how he feels about Vera being in bed and a tub with another man.....

Vera's new man

Our friend, Jenny and her son Eli drove from Savannah to visit all their friends at Rucker. Her husband is serving in Iraq. She is such a strong wife and mother raising an awesome son. Eli and Vera are only 5 days apart but had the same due date. They had a great time playing together! Vera even sat on her new boyfriends nap! It's nice to see another "chunky" baby too. They are going to be here for the weekend so I am sure you will get to see much more of them together!

I knew things were going to change when Vera started crawling. I just didn't know it was going to happen this fast. Now, She can get everywhere and into everything.
It's true if you look away for a second something happens. Today Vera decided to get into Daddy's stereo equipment and the dog food. I am sure I tried to eat dog food too. I have a picture of Clay when he was a baby eating a worm in the mud. Must be a baby thing!....

Vera and I have so much fun on laundry day. That is the day all the laundry, ironing, and sheets get done. We make it a fun event. I am weird and enjoy cleaning. I hope Vera will enjoy it one day too! I thought I would show you why she likes it so much...

Pensacola Florida

Clay had to go to Pensacola for a conference. We brought our friends and made a nice weekend out of it. We tried out the portable DVD player on the trip and Vera loved it. She even used the headphones! I know what I am bringing on my next flight!

Like Mother Like Daugther

Vera is into everything these days. While I was doing my hair in the hotel Vera snatched some of my velcro rollers. I put one in her hiar and she didn't even notice. All she wanted to do was eat them and the bag......

Vera's new cabana

Grandma Carol bought Vera a cabana for the beach. We could not wait for the weekend so we opened it up today! She was not sure at first. She would crawl up close to it and stop to look at me for reassurance. Than after I put her inside and it was over.. Since we could not use steaks in the sand the cabana was all over the place...
