Vera's 1st Easter

I hope everyone has enjoyed Easter Sunday. We rode up to Springfield to pick Grandma Carol up at the airport. She has flown in to take care of Vera while we move and keep her company during the drive. We have no food in our kitchen due to the move so we are going to do Easter dinner at Crackel Barrel tonight!

Easter Bunny

Clay and I took Vera to see the Easter Bunny today at the Military PX. Not that she will remember but we thought it was cute!

Vera is growing so fast. She learns something new everyday. Now that Clay finished school and has a few days off we have been enjoying some "Vera Time". We propped her up with tons of pillows and watched her sit up by herself. She amazes us everday! I hope you enjoy the video of her!

Poor Baby Girl is teething. She is chewing on those hands 24-7 and droowling like crazy.

Army Kid

We had to get an Army shirt for Fort Leonard Wood. She has a onsie from Fort Carson and this one. Soon we will be buying her a Fort Rucker shirt!
I bought a 6 month shirt and thought it would fit her fine but we had trouble getting it on her.....

Good Bye Friends

Our friends left today from Fort Leonard Wood. They couldn't wait to leave like us. Steve graduated with Clay today, came over to change clothes and hit the road. Looks like we weren't alone when it came to hating it here.....

CONGRATS

Today was Clay graduation from Engineer Captains Career Course. You know what that means folks! WE ARE OUT OF HERE SOON. The only good thing about this place was that Vera was born here. We are so happy to be leaving Fort Leonard Wood and traveling south!

Vera stole the spoon from me this morning while I was feeding her.. I thought it was too cute!

CONGRATULATIONS

I got a call from Luke at 4am telling me that Makenna had arrived. Baby and family are doing great and they promise more pictures to come. Makenna is a healthy 7 pound 2 ounces and 20 inches long. Jess did great going all natural! Clay and I will get to meet Makenna next week! Luke and Jess are going to be fantastic parents!
