I got to stay the night with my cousins before the big day! We spent the day of the wedding preparing at Jo Jo's clubhouse with hair and make-up. I was honored to do the Bride, Mother-of-Bride and Grandmother-of-Brides hair... oh and myself too! It was a great morning with all the ladies!

It was a HOT evening for the rehersal dinner. NO A.C. in the church made for a hot one..... Father Watkins did a fantastic job getting us in and out of there so we could enjoy dinner!

Vera got to go on her first field trip at school on the BUS! The most exciting part of the whole trip was the bus!
She enjoyed petting all the animals, especially the rabbits and baby chicks!

Vera's lesson had a lot to do with the color PINK! Miss Genny says Vera is doing great at lessons and is a true horse lover! What a great way to learn about different equipment! V could not wait to tell me all about the PINK they put on Jazz!

The family went to the Horse Show at the Equestrian Center on Fort Rucker. Poor Daddy had to lug around a 35lb kid on his back while it was a scolding 98 degrees (no fun). Vera was so upset that Jazz, her horse she takes lessons on was not there that we had to leave prematurly..... Hopefully we will have a more successful time at the next show!

Vera and Charlie's preschool held a Grandparents Day. A little tricky for Mom to visit two kids without grandparents in town but I managed!....

My best friend from "home" little sister came for a quick visit. Christina is a junior at Auburn. The kids had a great time with them and it was fun reminising about the old days (like remembering when she was born :(I feel old...)
