Vera had to warm up to the splash park but eventually she loved it! Can't wait to go again with Emma, Aunt Essie and Uncle Todd!

Vera's 1st day of preschool!!!!!
I was so proud of myself, NO TEARS!

Our independant little girl did so great. She was super excited about her horse backpack and walked right into class, sat down at her chair next to her best buddy, Eli and kissed me goodbye and that was that. Her teacher, Ms. Gail told me she did a great job. She followed the rules, pee peed on the potty and played great with the other kids!...
She attends Small Steps, a christian ciriculum school two days a week from 8:30-11:30. She is in a class of 8 kids and only two girls. Brand new building and playground too. I am super excited to get some one on one time with Charlie too!

We are starting a new tradition at the Duncan household. Friday night is movie night. A trip to blockbuster, pulling the couch bed out and watching a movie as a family. Vera chose My Little Pony and Charlie got Bob the Builder....
Hopefully many memories in the future!

namesake

Charlie is named after my Grandfather! His wife, Colleen who my middle name is after made this drawing of the portrait that was taken at 4 months old. I am so proud to have a son named after my Grandpa and if he turns out half the man that my Grandpa is he is he will be an amazing man!
Thanks to Grandma Colleen for your unbelievable artistic talent and being such wonderful great grandparent!
Our children are very lucky to have 4 great grandma's and 2 great grandpa's. I still remember playing cards with my Great Grandma when I was 16! I know my children will have the same wonderful memories too!We love you Johnson's, Dreyer's, Nana and Phylis!!!

We took Charlie to Birmingham Hospital this week for a pulminology appointment. He was so fun! It was so nice having him without his sister thanks to Aunt Brooke staying with Vera, THANKS BUNCHES!!!
We had a great but extremely long appointment! We got lots of answers and ways to prevent what happened last winter!!!
